Another Saturday almost over
It’s a muggy 75° on the porch. There’s a much needed light rain falling, a gentle breeze and lots of thunder! I’ve had a busy day today. I went to town to run my errands, then came back home briefly then up to the fire department to celebrate friends who are like family fifty year wedding anniversary. Seems like a few weeks ago we celebrated their 40th anniversary with a surprise party. A lot has changed in ten years.
Made new hummingbird food today. Those little things are mean! I wonder how much sugar I’ve gone through feeding them this summer.
This COVID thing has me all torn up. I’m scared to get it again. I’ve had the shots and I’ve had COVID. If I got it again, would it be worse on me? Would I be the odd one out that it kills after having the shots? I’m afraid it’s here to stay. I’m afraid it’s inevitable to get it again. And again.
Pray for our county. Pray for your family and neighbors. Pray for our nation to return to the old paths, to beg God’s forgiveness and that He’ll heal our land!
16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
Have a blessed day!I love all y’all❤️
