🍂🍁🧡🎃October 🎃🧡🍁🍂

October holds a special time in my heart. I met Rick in October. I knew when I met him that he’d  be the one I married. 

It’s a cool-ish morning, 64° with light fog.  It’s 5:35 am as I begin, I’ve been up over an hour.  Sleep is rare these days. It’s still quite dark. There’s not a hint of morning in the sky yet.  The roosters are crowing all around though.  There are tons of night critters making their noises as well. There’s not much road noise.  As I’m writing, I can see the faintest hint of light in the east….. either that, or I’m adjusting to the dark after thirty minutes out here. My coffee is so good this morning! 

I have cooking to do later today. Tomorrow is homecoming! I love my church and church family. And, we’ll have a good day tomorrow! It’ll be a little sad though, so many are gone from when we started going there 19 years ago. 

Y’all, please remember to pray for those who are sick and their families! Please remember those who’ve lost loved ones! Pray for our community, county, state and nation! Pray for our leaders at all levels, pray they make smart, well informed choices for us, We the People! 

Pray for our neighbors because we don’t know what they are going through, keeping it to themselves.
