Sixty four degrees!
It’s 64° on the porch this morning! The air is crisp. There’s haze in the distance but no real fog. Speaking of fog, have you heard the foggy mornings in August thing? Old wives tale: count the foggy mornings in August and that’s how many times you’ll see snow in the coming winter. It’s day 2 and no fog! Now, if it’ll stay that way…. By the way, it doesn’t say accumulating snow…. So those days with flurries do count!
It’s a beautiful morning. Birds are singing. There are some night critters still doing their thing. The hummingbirds are buzzing around. I hear someone’s dogs. Sounds like they’re having a blast. There’s quite a bit of road noise this morning too. Not only from 1749 out there, but from behind me. Some days I can hear vehicles from Penns Chappel area behind me. Some days I can hear the train as it goes through at Oakland.
This cool morning has me wishing for fall! We still have plenty of hot, humid days ahead though! I’m not rushing the seasons. I just love fall!! 🧡🍁🍂🌻
Please remember to pray for our land.
Pray one for another.
I love all y’all!❤️
Have a blessed day!
